1. Regulatory status
Asset Fetch is not registered with, licensed by, or regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), or any other financial regulator.
We are an advisory and documentation consultancy. We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, broking, banking, insurance distribution, or any other regulated financial service, and nothing on this website should be read as an offer to provide one.
2. Not legal or tax advice
Nothing on this website — including the answers in our FAQ — is legal, tax, or financial advice, and none of it creates a professional relationship between you and Asset Fetch. Recovery procedures differ by institution, by asset, and by the facts of each family's situation. Please take advice on your own circumstances before acting.
3. No affiliation with any authority or institution
Asset Fetch is an independent private consultancy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, SEBI, the RBI, IRDAI, the UDGAM portal, any Registrar and Transfer Agent, any bank, any insurer, or any listed company.
Where we name such bodies — IEPF, UDGAM, SEBI, RTAs including MUFG Intime, KFin Technologies and others — we do so only to describe the procedures we help families navigate. Those names remain the property of their respective owners.
You are entitled to pursue any of these claims yourself, directly and without an intermediary. Our service exists because the process is demanding, not because it is closed to you.
4. Statistics cited on this site
Figures describing unclaimed assets in India are drawn from published sources — the Reserve Bank of India's Depositor Education and Awareness Fund disclosures, Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority reporting, and IRDAI publications — and are cited with their source and date on the page where they appear.
They describe the national pool of unclaimed assets. They are not a statement about the assets held by any individual or family, not a prediction of what any claim may yield, and not a representation of our results. These figures are reported at different dates and may since have changed.
5. No guarantee of recovery
We make no representation that any particular claim will succeed, that any amount will be recovered, or that recovery will occur within any period. Outcomes depend on institutional records, statutory processes, and the evidence available. Where this website describes what we do, it describes our process — not an assured result.
6. Beware of impersonation
Asset Fetch never asks clients to transfer money or securities to us, and never asks for internet banking passwords, OTPs, or demat account credentials. Our only contact details are those published on this website. If someone contacts you claiming to be Asset Fetch and asks for any of these, they are not us — please tell us at info@assetfetch.in.
7. Website content and availability
We take care to keep this website accurate, but procedures, forms and regulatory thresholds change, and content may become out of date. We give no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it. External links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content of other websites.
8. Trademark
The Asset Fetch name and wordmark are used as unregistered trademarks. An application is on file; registration has not yet been granted, and the ™ symbol is used accordingly.
